This is probably the first quest you will do as a Night Elf, as
youstart in Shadowglen. You need to locate Conservator Ilthalaine.
He'slocated just south of the village of Aldrassil, west of the road.
Onceyou locate him, talk to him: Greetings. I am Conservator Ilthalaine. My purpose in Shadowglen is to ensure that the balance of nature is maintained. The Spring rains were particularly heavy this year, causing some of the forest's beasts to flourish while others suffered. Unfortunately,the
nightsaber and thistle boar populations grew too large. Shadowglencan
only produce so much food for the beasts. Journey forth,
youngadventurer, and thin the boar and saber populations so that
nature'sharmony will be preserved.
Your objective is now to kill 5 Young Nightsabers (lvl 1-2) and 3 Young Thistle Boars(lvl
1-2). These can be located just east of Conservator Ilthalaine,around
the road. Once you've helped kill some of the surplus thistleboar and
nightsaber population, return to Conservator Ilthalaine foryour reward. Talk to Conservator Ilthalaine again for partII of the quest.
