You can get this quest by speaking to Roon Wildmane in Shadowprey Village. If you?re already doing Hemet Nesingwary, this is a good quest to combine with your journey to Stranglethorn. Roon says:

Long ago, a dwarf came to this land. His name was Hemet and he wished to hunt great beasts. His skills with the rifle were uncanny, and we spent many days hunting together. Even the enmity between our peoples was forgotten.

When he left Desolace for Stranglethorn, I vowed to one day welcome him back so that we may hunt again. Now is that time.

Take this kodo horn to Hemet. He will know it is from me. You will find him in Stranglethorn, north of the Grom'gol Base camp.

Speak to Hemet Nesingwary

The easiest way to Stranglethorn from here is to take a wind rider to The Crossroads, run from there to Ratchet and take the ship there to Booty Bay. From here you?ll have to run north following the road until you pass Grom?Dol Base Camp on your left. Continue across the bridges til you reach the cliffs along the river, then turn left and you?ll find Hemet?s camp just near the river. Speak to him and he says:

Ah, this horn belongs to a Tauren, Roon Wildmane. He and I had a good time hunting the beasts of Desolace. So Roon is inviting me back, is he?

We?re neck deep in the jungle right now, but thank you?Perhaps my next expedition will take me back to Desolace, the land of the centaurs.
