| Questkeep.com - Status | | 2004-11-21 19:59:07 CET | | We have had a few people asking us as to the status of our site. Why there is "only" 170+ quests, and so forth. So here's the two most frequently asked questions :)
- The reason for us not having more quests, is that we're writing every quest piece ourselves, with a little help from a program we've created. But basicly it's all hand written and not automated. We could automize the quests like some other sites, but we won't do that because it's already done, and it would not be a quest walkthrough as we want it, but merely a list of available quests in game. That coupled with the fact that we simply have not been in the beta for long enough to add anything more is the reason for the number of quests in our database. But we will keep adding more quests, almost daily. And you can help, by submitting quests using this link.
- Some have asked why there is greyed out stuff on our site. And the simple answer to that, is we're still working hard on the site itself. Many features are still not as we want them, and some stuff we have simply not even started on yet. For example, our quest-path/pool is something we're still thinking hard and long about how to do properly. And the greyed out menu-items to the left, is still on our to-do lists.
So QuestKeep.com is still very much a work-in-progress, and we'd very much like any feedback on what we have to offer at the moment, and we'd also like suggestions as to what you think we need. And the best way to do that, is to make a little post on the forum and tell us what we're doing right or wrong. Hope this clears up some of the questions people might have :) |

| | Blizzard having fun with demons, closing US beta | | 2004-11-19 00:47:15 CET | | Tonight at around 00:30 GMT, Blizzard started having fun in the World of Warcraft realms on the servers of the closing BETA. Rumors was started about huge demons invading Stormwind, Ironforge and other capitols, so Yours Truly had to check it out.

Curiosity killed the cat, so to speak. Outside IronForge was several huge hellfire demons guarding the entrace, and reports from inside told stories of killerchickens - yes, killerchickens - inside. As I approached the gates, I was killed instantly by one of the demons.

Last, but not least, a player was transformed into a frog for some reason.

Blizzard is not without humor :) We at QuestKeep thanks everyone from the US Beta - see you in the game when it goes retail. |

Also, as is always a hot topic at the end of betas, there will be a character wipe.
